About UA Local 27
UA Local 27 was chartered in 1889. For over 120 years, we’ve been protecting the health of our jurisdiction through our vigorous apprentice and journeyman training.
Our contractors employ Local 27 members in many different construction applications. We work in the heavy industrial, commercial and residential sectors of the construction industry.
Our workforce takes pride in partnering with our signatory contractors in providing sophisticated piping systems to the end user. From underground installation to final connections of fixtures and equipment, a plumber is required to have all the physical and mental skills needed to get the job done right the first time.
Our journeymen and apprentices are among the best trained in the world. Continuing education classes are offered on a regular basis to our journeymen to keep them updated on changes and trends of the plumbing industry.
